My "CREW", and, on this night, VIP protect on Clint Eastwood, shielding him and his editor Joel Cox, from the FBI, as he premiered the controversial (at least it was to the FBI) "J.EDGAR" with Leonardo DeCaprio in Carmel, CA. We kept Eastwood and Cox out of harm's way, but, a gremlin snuck-in and got the film to break (I am going to remember that trick, very devious), bringing the night to a dissappointing early one. We were backstage at the time, watching the film backwards through the rear of the screen. Next time I will put my best man (or woman) up in the projection room, especially when I realize I am dealing with the FBI (and I gotta lotta friends there too, whattya gonna do?)
