Marisa was born to a Portuguese Father and a Czech/German Mother. She and her twin-sister grew up in Central California. Marisa attended boarding school at a College Preparatory school in Hawaii, and went to college in New York, New York. She is a former dancer and has been a professional actress since the age of nine.
