Caption: The Nuns Vacation follows the successful and critically acclaimed Blood by Tom Walmsley. Blood went on to garner three Dora Mavor Moore Award nominations under the Independent Threatre Production Division in 2011: Outstanding Production - Doghouse Riley Productions for Blood, Outstanding Direction Peter Pasyk for Blood, and Outstanding Performance by a Female in a Principle Role Sandy Duarte for Blood. Ms. Duarte was not only a nominee but came out a winner as well. And it is with Sandy Duarte that actor Stephen Chambers teams up with for a third time (and third Tom Walmsley production) to bring you Mr. Walmsley's unpublished and never before been performed, brand new play, The Nuns Vacation. Joining Chambers and Duarte on stage is Glen Matthews, himself a Robert Meritt Award nominee as best actor for last years Logan and I in Nova Scotia. Helming this project is director Jack Grinhaus, himself a Dora Award nominee.
