Dónall Ó Héalaí was born in 1987 in Galway, Ireland. In 2010-2011, he trained with teachers from the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City. He is a recent graduate of the 2013-2014 The Factory Screen Acting Programme. A programme lead by director's, John Carney, Shimmy Marcus, Kirsten Sheridan and Lance Daly.
