Played the trumpet at an early age. Was invited to Local and State competitions. In High School, he joined the weight lifting team, played football, and ran track. He was an All Big Bend Weight Lifter in the State of Florida, breaking records in his weight class. Received his Bachelors Degree in Physical Education from Florida A&M University.
