Toby trained as a musician firstly at Westminster Abbey as a chorister and then as a scholar at Uppingham and at the University of East Anglia where he specialized in electro-acoustic composition. Since then he has worked with several directors in the UK on short films which have been received well at Film Festivals around the world.
