Born in Hong Kong, Mike didn't discover his passion for acting until senior year of high school. His debut stage performance was the part of "Officer #2" in Shakespeare's Twelfth Night at Burnaby South Secondary. A week after graduation, Mike began studying at the New Image College of Fine Arts in Vancouver.
