Grew up in Pontiac, Illinois. Started performing at age six, as he became actively involved in community theater, tap, ballet, piano, drums and numerous athletics. Ross attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and established himself as a leader within the Greek system on campus. He received a degree in Recreation, Sport and Tourism.
