Jarvis grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada until he was 17 then moved to Los Angeles and attended Biola University's film program. He graduated with a degree in Cinema Media Arts in 2012 with an emphasis in Production and a minor in Biblical Studies. Jarvis also has published a statistical theory called "Curveball Quantification."
