Born in Brooklyn, NY, Michelle Hurst has had an extensive career in film, television, and theatre, playing everything from judges, lawyers and doctors to irate mothers, ghostly slaves, and Henry James. She also does voice-over work, and narration at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Her favorite movie role (so far) has been in Wayne Wang's "Smoke."
