John-Paul moved from Ireland to London to study Architecture. He followed this with an MA in Design for Film and Television at the Royal college of Art. He has designed numerous period and contemporary films as well as a number of television pieces. He has won an Emmy Award and a BAFTA award for his work as Production Designer.
