Named after Meryl Streep, and nicknamed "Hawk." Raised in Houston, Texas where she was a gymnast growing up. She is of Ukrainian, English, French and Dutch descent. Hawk began acting in Austin, Texas at a small acting studio in town. Hawk's teacher took notice of her talent and encouraged her to move to Los Angeles to further pursue her career.
