Lesley Shires was born in Fort Jackson, South Carolina and raised at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and Gadsden, Alabama. She is a graduate of East Carolina University and New York University's Graduate Acting Program. A former dancer who found her love for acting in musicals and then through her teacher Don Biehn.
