Matte was born and raised in Highgate, North West London. After studying Performing Arts during a 1 year foundation at Arts Educational School, Chiswick, in 2007. Three years later In 2010 Matt earned himself a place at The Poor School in Kings Cross. He graduated from the school in January 2012.
