Paulina Guentcheva was born in Sofia in 1977. She graduated in Law from Sofia University in 2003. From 2010 to 2012 she studied Film and TV Directing in Georgi Djulgerov's Master Class at New Bulgarian University, Sofia. In 2011 she set up her own film company, Tara Tree Picture Ltd. She has co-authored 3 short films.
