Ellen Ratner was born in NYC and graduated from the High School of Performing Arts. Her fellow class mates were Ellen Barkin and Glenne Headly. She graduated with a BA in English Literature from City College of New York CCNY. She has two brothers, Christopher Martin of NYC and Ronnie Ratner of BOCA RATON.
