Flying Misters: A Movie directed by Reza Bahrami-Nezhad Bandar Anzali is a small port city on the Caspian Sea. In the 1940s, this city was the hub of cultural and artistic activity. City inhabited by mostly Armenian families having fled the Soviet Union, Bandar Anzali used to be called the “Pahlavi Port”, the gateway to Europe. Today, 25 years after the revolution,there is no economic or industrial activity. Unemployed workers, retired captains,old men,but also unemployed youth who do not want to take over the traditional ways of their parents … the youth of Bandar Anzali only dream of leaving one day this cloudy port. In the year 2000, three high school friends,Reza, Hootan , and Mohammad decided to form a rock band in order to pull themselves out of theirdull daily lives. They called themselves the “Flying Misters”
